WSOP Day 38 Digest

The bracelet distribution is slowing down with the start of the Main Event:

#Buy-inEventPlayerPrize
71$500SALUTE TO WARRIORS – $500 No-Limit Hold’em🇺🇸 Susan Faber$121,161

We had to wait 38 days to have a women win an open event! Susan Faber had to defeat none other than Rob Stark in heads-up to win her place on the iron throne!

Few notables made a deep run in the tournament except one legend:

The Main Event total entries count is still to be defined as late registration are still possible into day 2, but the 8,000 mark is broken, making it the second largest ever! It should end as the 5th largest event of this 2019 edition.

Here is the current top 5 events in entries:

#Buy-inEventPrizepoolEntries
3$500BIG 50 No-Limit Hold’em$13,509,43528371

So many well known faces have entered the tournament. However, some like Phil Ivey or Liv Boeree unfortunately didn’t make day 2. In the chipcount leaderboard, three players have managed to quintuple their starting stack, including Mike McDonald who is currently second. Mike has accumulated $13,290,044 in total live earnings since 2007, and despite being 43th in the all time money list, he “only” managed to cash ten times for $220,833 at the WSOP.

There are at this moment no other events in progress other than the Main, but we still have 17 events to bag, starting with the Little One for One Drop today!
