Event #17: MILLIONAIRE MAKER No-Limit Hold’em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Lazrus<\/strong> held his ground firmly yesterday to capture this huge trophy and the $1M prize. The tournament total prizepool was $7M and 5,326 took the start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lazrus showed it’s still possible to “quickly” get successful in poker: “I only started playing about four and half years ago, at first just recreationally,” he said. “I started winning, met the right guy, who put me in touch with the other right guys, just learned. Starting like two years ago I started raising stakes and studying very very aggressively almost as a priority.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #22: LADIES No-Limit Hold’em Championship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the ladies event the final five has been set: Mikiyo Aoki<\/strong> still stands strong with the chip lead, closely followed by Debora Brooke<\/strong>. Women’s Poker Hall of Famer JJ Liu<\/strong> has the smallest stack but still has a chance to fight for the top $115K prize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Famous streamer unfortunately Marle Cordeiro<\/strong> took a 7th place for $14K but was in a good mood nonetheless after the loss:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
