The $1,979 event #79: Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong>, registered 468 entries. Ole Schemion<\/strong> has a commending lead with nearly half the remaining chips at 6 left. Schemion curiously has no live cash at the WSOP despite his $16M in live earnings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

24 players remain in the $3,000 event #80: 6-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha<\/strong>, lead by Robert Cowen<\/strong>. Some well known pros will return today, notably Chino Rheem<\/strong> (7th) and Mike Matusow<\/strong> (13th). $280,916 will be awarded to the winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest buy-in of the series has started in the $250,000 event #82: Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong>, and who else but Michael Addamo<\/strong> could be the chip leader at the end of day 1? Ali Imsirovic<\/strong> is a close second, followed by Ben Heath<\/strong> and Adrian Mateos<\/strong>, and many more known names complete the 15 players still having their chance.
