In a long lasting heads-up, Dan Shak<\/strong> resisted as well as he could, but he finally succumbed to Brian Yoon<\/strong> who won his fifth WSOP bracelet to get the top prize of $311,433. Five bracelets and $3,7M in earnings will put him at the 27th place on the overall bracelet leaderboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the interview, Yoon said: “Honestly, I don’t try to bracelet hunt or anything like that, I’m just trying to play the tournaments and enjoy playing the games. It feels great, obviously, to be the 33rd to get number five, so I’ll take it and see what happens in the future.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chad Eveslage<\/strong> missed a good chance to get a third bracelet this year and finished 12th ($20k).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Event #15: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold\u2019em<\/strong>, Sarah Herzali<\/strong> of France will return today with a large chip lead at 15 left. Multiple bracelet holders John Monnette<\/strong> (11th) and Upeshka De Silva<\/strong> (14th) will also have their chance to elevate their impressive track record. 2,454 entered the tournament and they will play for $465,501.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #16: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold\u2019em 8-Handed<\/strong> has broke the record of most entries in a $25k with 301, building a pretty decent $7M prizepool and a $1,6M first place. Czech player Roman Hrabec<\/strong> is the current chip leader at 13 left, and a star studded line-up will stand up to him: Aleksejs Ponakovs<\/strong> (3rd), Joao Vieira<\/strong> (4th), Brian Rast<\/strong> (5th), Isaac Haxton<\/strong> (6th) and Kristen Foxen<\/strong>, who fell from the chip lead and is now 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
