Event #19: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Valentino Konakchiev is the winner of event #19 and will take home a nice $435,924 home. A first bracelet for the Bulgarian who’s doubled his total live earnings with the trophy. He defeated the Argentinian Andres Korn<\/a> in the heads-up, Alexandre Reard<\/a> finishing third and start of day 3 chipleader Qiang Xu<\/a> saw his dreams shattered and finished 9th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’ve been dreaming about it since I’ve been watching poker when I was 15 on TV and I can’t believe it actually happened,” Konakchiev told in the interview.” It feels really, really good,” Konakchiev said with a wide smile. “They already have bracelets, so it was my time.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #20: $1,500 Badugi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After 22 cashes at the World Series, Michael Rodrigues Pires Santos<\/strong> grabbed his first bracelet in this impressive 516 entries first Badugi event ever, and won the $144,678 top prize. Yingui Li<\/strong> of China couldn’t beat his opponent and finished second, ahead of bracelet winner Danny Tang<\/strong> who ended fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #21: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another large Pot-Limit Omaha this year with this 2,071<\/strong> entries $1,000 event. Stephen Nahm came out on top after 15 beers for his first bracelet and 8th live registered prize ever, and will pocker $267,991. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Every poker player, obviously, comes here – you dream of this shit, right? I kinda made my dream come true a little bit; I’m not going to lie.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is said that the player requested to be brought a new beer every 18 minutes, drinking more than twenty beers for day 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #22: $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship<\/strong> has just 3 players remaining. Main Event winner Joe McKeehen<\/strong> fell fourth, so now remains Josh Arieh<\/strong> in third, Nozomu Shimizu<\/strong> in second and chip leader Daniel Idema<\/strong> who will chase a fourth bracelet later today. The bracelet will be accompagnied by a $316,226 paycheck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #23: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong> had 124 entries and day 2 ends with only 5 player lead by Alex Foxen<\/strong>. Here is the chip count:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

William Burke<\/strong> will return with the biggest stack, followed by Jeff Lisandro<\/strong> (4th), Dzmitry Urbanovich<\/strong> (9th) and David “ODB” Baker<\/strong> in 14th place. They’ll play for the $152,991 top prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
