The Monster Stack finally came to an end after five days of battle, and two more events also delivered their bracelets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #39: $1,500 MONSTER STACK No-Limit Hold’em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a long battle Braxton Dunaway<\/strong> from Texas put his hand on the coveted bracelet and the large $1,1M prize. It’s the first bracelet for the player who had until then $333k in total live earnings. Joe Cada<\/strong> had a chance to win his 5th bracelet yesterday but couldn’t climb the ranks. Still he pocketed a more than decent $186,149 for his 7th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I want to say that all the people who were at the final table were really nice, great opponents, good players,” Dunaway<\/strong> said in the winner interview. “I got extremely lucky a few times, but you have to win one of these things. It was just my turn, it’s just awesome.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #45: $1,500 Mixed Omaha Hi Low<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

William Leffingwell<\/strong> is the winner of the event for $253,651. A first bracelet for the American who had until then $374,168 in total live earnings. Shaun Deeb<\/strong> had a shot for the double this year, but got stuck in fifth place for $55k. He’s currently 3rd in the Player Of the Year race,<\/a> currently lead by Ian Matakis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #46: $500 Freezeout No-Limit Holdem<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The small buy-in event attracted 5,342 players and only two days were needed to go down to a winner. Jay Lockett<\/strong> defeated Benson Tang<\/strong> to claim the $262,526 prize. Before yesterday, Lockett only live cash was in the $600 Deepstack event at the 2021 WSOP, what a second cash he got! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This wasn’t supposed to happen” an emotional Lockett said. “I was dead money coming in…this is amazing. You have to run so hot. I had quads twice at the final table. I had ace-queen that ended up beating ace-king earlier”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only seven players were eliminated on day 4 of Event #43: $50,000 Poker Players Championship<\/strong>. Daniel Alaei<\/strong> lost in 10th, Josh Arieh<\/strong> in 9th, and finally Phil Ivey<\/strong> was the last eliminated of the day in 6th for $228k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obst<\/strong> and Ashton<\/strong> will try to capture their second bracelet, while Rast<\/strong> can win his sixth! The chips favors Shakerchi<\/strong> who still has to win a bracelet despite his generous $12M in total live earnings. Shakerchi<\/strong> won $3,5M last March in the $100k of the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #44: $3,000 No-Limit Holdem<\/strong> is at 15 left, with Aram Oganyan<\/strong> in the lead. Out of the numerous known names that started the day, none made the cut. Main Event winner Espen Jorstad<\/strong> lost in 21st for $25k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twenty eight players remain in Event #47: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E.<\/strong> Chip leader Yuri Dzivielevski<\/strong> will return as the chip leader and will try to put his hands on the $207,688 top prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also happening yesterday: 3,692 took the start of Event #48: $1,000 SENIORS No-Limit Hold\u2019em Championship<\/strong>, 2,226 in the Event #49: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong> and one of the most prestigious championship started with Event #50: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One final word…Jeremy Ausmus<\/strong> won Online Event #8: $3,200 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller<\/strong> and his sixth bracelet for $360,036! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
