Event #48: $1,000 SENIORS No-Limit Hold\u2019em Championship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just a bit more than two hours were needed to close the final table and crown Lonnie Hallett<\/strong> as the winner of the large 8,140 entries field. After one cash in 2012 and another one in 2015, the Canadian puts his hands on his first bracelet for his third cash and $771,234 in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billy Baxter<\/strong><\/a> fought hard over a chip deficit compared to the two starting chip leaders and reached the final heads-up! He was as close as possible from an eight bracelet that would have put in in 7th place in the bracelet race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You can make money, but you can’t buy a bracelet”, humbly said Hallett<\/strong> after the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #54: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mike Gorodinsky<\/strong> mostly cruised through the final table to bring home a new bracelet and $422,747. It’s the third bracelet for the player after winning the 2015’s $50k Poker Players Championship and a $2,500 Omaha\/Stud Hi-Lo in 2013. Gorodinsky<\/strong> denied Alex Livingston<\/strong> a second bracelet in the heads-up, Brian Yoon<\/strong> finished 4th, Scott Seiver<\/strong> 5th and Carol Fuchs<\/strong> 6th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The win arrived on point for Gorodinsky<\/strong>: “I had kind of a rocky start to my summer, and my plan actually was if I didn’t cash or go far in this tournament, I was going to fly home for a week and a half to recharge and spend some time with my wife. So, this run was kind of like an unexpected, really cool way to wrap up an otherwise long, tough month.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #55: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Polish Marcin Horecki<\/strong> is the winner of the event of the 566 entries event for $155,275 and his first bracelet, putting his live earnings at more than $1,5M. Mike Matusow<\/a><\/strong> was defeated in the heads-up and was very close from winning his fifth bracelet but he will still put $95k in his pockets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #53: $1,500 MILLIONAIRE MAKER No-Limit Hold\u2019em<\/strong> is down to 41 players after starting with 10,416. German Andreas Kniep<\/strong> leads the tournament, and he will be notably joined by David “ODB” Baker<\/strong> (25th) and Erick Lindgren<\/strong> (28th).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting with 4,303 entries, Event #56: $500 SALUTE to Warriors – No-Limit Hold\u2019em<\/strong> is already down to 15 players after two days. Ryan Stephens<\/strong> will return as the chip leader today and will try to put his hands on the $217,921 top prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #57: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha<\/strong> continues to break records as 449 registered, building a massive $10,5M prizepool and making up for a $2,2M top prize! Chance Kornuth<\/strong> has a comfortable chip advantage over the 30 other players, including: Isaac Haxton<\/strong> (3rd), Jeremy Ausmus<\/strong> (10th), Dan Zack<\/strong> (12th) and Ben Lamb<\/strong> (14th). Chad Eveslage<\/strong> (21st) still has a chance to win a third bracelet this year and Yuri Dzivielevski<\/strong> (24th) can win a second one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #58: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold\u2019em <\/strong>is down to 17 players, lead by Jason Daly<\/strong>. Dan Shak<\/strong> (13th) and Joe McKeehen<\/strong> (16th) will also return into day 3 to try to grab the $165,250 first prize, one of the smaller prize this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
