After ten live cashes in the course of 13 years, Steven Genovese<\/strong> casually grabbed the event #56 bracelet and its associated $217,921! His previous best performance was a $21,018 win in a $185 daily tournament at the Rio in 2015. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It feels amazing! I was pinching myself the whole time!”, the now retired fireman said. “You can do it, too. If I can do it, you can do it.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #58: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold\u2019em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jason Daly<\/strong> made his starting chip lead work for him yesterday as he didn’t let the other 16 players upset his run to victory. A first bracelet for American who adds $165,250 to his live earnings, now reaching $918k.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most famous names fell early yesterday: Joe McKeehen<\/strong> couldn’t built a stack and was the first eliminated (17th), shortly followed by Dan Shak<\/strong> (14th).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is my third World Series final table. I had a huge chip lead like this last year and blew it, so I was focused, and I was doing everything I could not to screw this one up”, said the happy winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hong Kong-based poker pro Ka Kwan Lau<\/strong> leads Event #57: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha<\/strong> for a chance to win the third biggest prize this year. Many spotlight pros fell in the later stages of day, including Jeremy Ausmus<\/strong> (8th, $209k), Chance Kornuth<\/strong> (9th, $161k) and Isaac Haxton<\/strong> (11th, $126k).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 18 left, Barak Wisbrod<\/strong> from Israel leads Event #59: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong>. 2019 Main Event Runner-up Dario Sammartino<\/strong> will return with the 13th stack, hoping to finally grab a bracelet. They’ll play for $675,275.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #60: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw<\/strong> ended day 2 with 24 players. Ryan Moriarty<\/strong> has the biggest stack, and will be joined by the 5 bracelets holder Adam Friedman<\/strong> (7th), Erik Seidel<\/strong> (9th), Maria Ho<\/strong> (12th), and Jason Mercier<\/strong> (18th).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
