Event #83: $1,500 Short Deck No-Limit Hold’em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They were 363 at the start for one of the smallest events of the year. Starting the final day with the third stack, Thai Ha<\/strong> found the path for the $111,170 win. He defeated David Prociak<\/strong> ($68k) in the heads-up, Ryan Laplante<\/strong> ($21k) ending in 5th place. It’s the first live cash at the WSOP, but Thai Ha<\/strong> has a strong $2,5M in total live earnings, including a second place for $511k in the 2019 \u20ac25,500 Short Deck event at the WSOP Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some words from the winner: “It feels great. Short Deck is one of the games I play the most and I got second twice already so this time it definitely feels great not to get second again. I feel like Short Deck is my strongest game.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
