Event #81: $600 Ultra Stack – No-limit Hold’em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The large event with its 7,207 entries built a $401,250 prize who went to Joseph Roh. Roh is not a poker pro but still had more than $100k in live earnings, now totalling $533,132. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #82: $3,000 6-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Matthew Parry<\/strong> grabs his first bracelet in the Pot-Limit Omaha event and takes home $480,122. It’s the best result for the player who has $1,7M in total live earnings. Parry was very close to win Event #34: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha<\/strong> event a few weeks ago when he finished third for $134,156. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ian Matakis<\/strong> will add solid points to the Player of the Year race by finishing third for $205,696. Connor Drinan<\/strong> lost in 6th place and takes $75k for the performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #84: $50,000 HIGH ROLLER No-Limit Hold\u2019em<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s the fifth event that had a prize over $2M this year, and the $2,087,073 check goes to the Hungarian Alex Kulev<\/strong>. Kulev is having a great summer this year, he already won $1,6M in the $250,000 Super High Roller. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The best players in the world came out to play this tournament,” Kulev said, “I max-late-regged with 15 big blinds, so it was very touch and go for a bit but when the cards want you to win, they usually let you win.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #76: $10,000 MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Six hours of play were needed to go from 15 to the 9 players that will play the final table of the World Series of Poker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adam Walton<\/strong> started the day second with 75M and went up to 143M to take the chip lead. He nearly has a quarter of the total chips, comfortably installed ahead of Steven Jones<\/strong> with 90M and 15% of the total chips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final nine<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I wasn’t a great day from Juan Maceiras<\/strong> who started as the chip leader with 108M and finished with the fifth stack of 68M. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two players have one bracelet at the table: Daniel Weinman<\/strong> (3rd, $3,7M in live earnings) and Jan-Peter Jachtmann<\/strong> (4th, $1,9M in live earnings). Both won a bracelet in Pot-Limit Omaha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Probably the most well known player of the group was Alec Torelli<\/strong>, who was very short at the start of the day and finally went bust in 11th place for $700,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 9 players will be paid a minimum of $900,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

987 entered Event #85: $1,500 SHOOTOUT No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong>. A very entertaining final table has been set with Adam Friedman<\/strong> (5 bracelets), Yuri Dzivielevski<\/strong> (3 bracelets) and Faraz Jaka<\/strong> . The first prize is set at $237,367.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event #86: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em<\/strong> is also down to 9 players. The event registered 1,417 entries for a prizepool of $2,4M. Diego Ventura is the chip leader and is joined by 2014 Main Event champion Martin Jacobson<\/strong> in fifth place. Phil Hellmuth<\/strong> made another deep run but fell in 19th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
