Release note

Poker Analytics 7

Poker Analytics 26 August 2026

Poker Analytics 7 is out for iOS, keeping improving your poker tracking app.

Until now, the app has been about recording what you did — your sessions, your bankroll, your hands. Version 7 keeps improving all of that and also adds poker tools to help you out analyze your game. We've added an equity calculator, an ICM calculator, and new Home Screen widget, and lots of improvements throughout the app.

Here's everything that's new.

Equity Calculator

Pick your two cards, add a board if you have one, then give your opponent either an exact hand or a range. Tap Calculate and you get your equity: win, tie, lose.

For ranges, we really wanted to avoid the usual pain of these tools. You get the 13×13 matrix to paint by hand, and a "Top %" slider right above it when you just want the top 23% without thinking about it. The combo count updates live while you drag, so you always know how wide you've made it.

And you're not limited to one opponent. Tap "Add villain" to run the hand multi-way — each villain gets its own hand or its own range, and the results show everyone's equity side by side.

ICM Calculator

If you play tournaments, this is the one you'll want open at the final table.

Enter the chip stacks still in play and the prizes left to be won, it's easy, the numbers update as you type. You'll see what every stack is actually worth in money, which is never what the chip counts suggest.

Underneath there's a risk premium section: how much extra equity each player needs before calling an all-in, compared to a pure chip-EV decision. The higher it gets, the more the pay jumps are squeezing the table. It works with up to 10 players.

Hand Replayer

You've been able to record hands in Poker Analytics for a long time, and to export them as a video or an image. Now you can watch them inside the app.

Open one of your hands and tap the replay button. From there you can step through the hand action by action, drag the scrubber to jump anywhere, or hit play and let it run on its own.

It looks exactly like the video export — the chips, the pot, the cards coming out, the winner banner at the end — except you decide the pace. It's the quickest way to go back over a hand you weren't sure about.

Session Widget

Put the Poker Analytics widget on your Home Screen and you can run a whole session without opening the app.

Start a cash game, a tournament or a house game straight from the widget — it uses your usual defaults, so it's a single tap. Rebuy at your preset amount, pause and resume when you take a break, and keep an eye on the live timer showing how long you've been playing.

If you're multi-tabling, a small pill on the right tells you how many sessions are running, and tapping it cycles through them.

Stopping a session still opens the app, because you have to type your cash-out amount and a widget can't take text input. Everything else happens on the Home Screen.

The evolution chart got an upgrade

Two things you've asked for a lot.

You can now plot against hands played. The evolution chart could already use sessions, months, years and duration for its X-axis, but hands is often the unit that actually makes sense, especially for cash game stats.

And there's a time interval picker, so you don't have to look at your entire history every single time: all, this year, this month, the last 6 months, 3 months, 1 month, or the last week.

Also in version 7

A lot of smaller things landed alongside the big ones.

  • Export your session pictures. Go to Settings → Export and pick "Session pictures". You'll get a zip with all the receipts and chipporn pics you've attached to your sessions — everything, or just one year.
  • Find a location on a map. You don't have to be standing in the casino anymore. The location screen now has a search field over a map, so you can add a venue from anywhere and it still gets the right coordinates.
  • Text custom fields. Custom fields could be a list, a number or an amount. Now they can be plain text too — and you can filter on them.
  • A rebuilt daytime efficiency report. We've improved the algorithm and layout of the graph for a much better result.
  • Bounty transactions. Bounty is now its own transaction type, right next to bonus and rakeback.
  • Reorder your bankrolls. Tap Edit on the bankroll list and drag them into whatever order you like.
  • A UI refresh. We've made many little change that will enhance your Poker Analytics, improved the user experience, and had a good pass on the diamond theme.

Poker Analytics 7 comes as a free update for all iOS users, just make sure to update your app!

That's it for version 7. It's the biggest update we've shipped since a long time, so we'd really like to know what you think — especially about the new tools. Let us know! 🙂
