Event #14. $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. :

The H.O.R.S.E. event was originally scheduled for the 28 players out of a starting field of 751 entrants to play down to six for the final day. Instead, the event almost ended on the third day stopping at the final head’s up between Jason Stockfish and Murilo Souza.

Event #15. $10.000 Heads-UP NL Championship :

Semi-finals are taking place today! Event #19. $1,500 The Millionaire Maker No Limit Hold’em.

3,923 players were gathered on Day 1A of this event, which guarantees the winner to become a millionaire! We can logically expect a big influence on the Day 1B today with the beginning of the weekend, ideal for the Americans to go to Vegas to party, and gamble!

Anecdote of the day :

“A chip and a chair”, refers to the most extraordinary comeback in the history of the WSOP that took place in 1982. After losing his first bullet in a WSOP tournament, Jack Straus discovers a token of $500 under his pack of cigarettes while getting up from the table. He sits back down and finally wins the title of world champion singing: “If you have a chip and a chair you can win”
