The seniors events are truly very successful. Event #39, reserved to 60+ years old only, attracted 2,650 players, making it the 7th biggest event so far! Michael Blake came out victorious of this large field, grabbing a bracelet as his 3rd WSOP cash, all three being in WSOP Super Seniors events.

The Greek Aristeidis Moschonas had even more success than Michael Blake as he took down Event #42: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em / Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack 8-Handed as his second WSOP cash ever, coming back with a stack of half a big blind after the first four levels!

Mike Sexton (1 bracelet, 70 WSOP cashes) sadly finished 7th in Event #43: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet for his first cash of the series. It is Loren Klein, now owner of 4 bracelets, who took the win for $127,808 in this specialists event.

Event #43 brang lots of known pros, but its Rainer Kempe who came the closest to win in Event #42.

Currently underway, Event #45: $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller brings a whole new lot of top pros eager to play the biggest events only, such as Ben Tollerene (9th) or Stephen Chidwick (26th). The event just reached the money at 42 left.
