WSOP Day 39 Digest

The main event is taking much of the attention, as it should, and we had no new champion yesterday.

1,100 on 3,248 players survived this day 2 AB, , combining the qualified players of day 1A and day 1B.

Day 3 will start on Monday, waiting for the players being able to get to the end of today’s day 2C.

As usual with this massive event, many well-known players are losing quickly:  Justin Bonomo, Stephen Chidwick, Chris Ferguson, Phil Galfond, Daniel Negreanu and Ryan Riess.

On the other side of the chip count reports, we can see much had better runs Qui Nguyen, former winner of the main event in 2016 with a stack of 600,000 or Anton Morgenstern who bagged 735,000. They are both behind the current chip leader Timothy Su his 800,000 chips. With the current blind level at 1,000/2,000 they are quite comfortable for the next day!

The Event #75: $1000 +$111 Little One for One Drop finished Day 1 with 56 players left, including Event #66 winner David “ODB” Baker, currently 34th.

Without any other event started, it’s already time to say good bye, see you tomorrow!
